1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Something Dope for the People LLC ("Company," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use auxcordpassport.com and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you consent to the practices described below. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account information: Name, email address, password, phone number, city and state, Instagram handle, and music/streaming links.
  • Role specific information: Studio application details, industry professional credentials, and any information you submit when applying or being invited to the Platform.
  • Payment information: Processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. Stripe provides us with a token, billing status, and the last four digits of your card.
  • Content: Photos, messages, session feedback, bookmarks, and any other content you submit through the Platform.

2.2 Information collected automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, sessions booked, time spent on the Platform, referring URLs, and click events.
  • Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and crash logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure Platform performance.

2.3 Information from third parties

  • Google sign-in: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile image from your Google account. We do not receive your Google password. We only request the minimum scopes needed to verify your identity and create your account ("openid," "email," "profile"). We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Contacts, or any other Google data through sign-in.
  • Stripe: We receive payment status, subscription state, and transaction history from Stripe.
  • Google Calendar (studio partners only, optional): Studio partners who choose to connect their Google Calendar grant us access to create and manage calendar events for their sessions. We only use this data to sync confirmed sessions to the studio's calendar. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google account settings or from your ACP dashboard.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Create, operate, and maintain your account.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and allocate credits.
  • Book, confirm, and manage Aux Cord Sessions, including sharing confirmed booking details with the studio.
  • Send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations, password resets, verification codes).
  • Send promotional emails about new sessions, features, and offers (you may opt out at any time).
  • Personalize your experience, including showing studios and sessions relevant to your city and preferences.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Improve the Platform, analyze usage patterns, and develop new features.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. How We Share Information

We share your information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

  • Partner studios: When you book a session, we share your name, email, phone number, and any relevant booking information with the studio hosting the session. Studio addresses are only shared back with you once your booking is confirmed.
  • Industry professionals: When industry members attend sessions, they may see artist names, music links, and profile information for attending artists.
  • Service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the Platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and Google (sign-in, optional calendar sync). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only to provide services to us.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of the Company, users, or the public.
  • Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections described here.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform. If you cancel your account, we will retain limited information (such as billing records and transaction history) as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, and delete or anonymize the rest within a reasonable period. You may request deletion of your account at any time by emailing jordan@somethingdopeforthepeople.com.

6. Security

We use industry standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, secure password hashing, and limited employee access. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and notifying us promptly of any unauthorized access.
